  • BBS LM Wheels or XXR 527 Wheels. Advice and opinions

    Hello everyone.

    I need help

I want to change the wheels of the Audi S2, and I'm torn between two models of wheels.

One option is the tire of choice for the Audi s2, the bbs lm,replica of course, is a success in the german look.

The other option is the XXR 527, which have already seen on various models of VAG group with excellent results.

The BBS LM course is in size 18x8 ET35 front and rear.

In the case of XXR 527, I am hesitating between two sizes.

Install 18x8,75 et20 front and rear.

    Install 18x8,75 et 35 front and 18x8,75 et20 rear

I imagine it would get in trouble ahead with the size of 18x8,75 et20

The wheels with et20 would be very removed from the Body?

Install 18x9,75 et20 front and rear would be possible or necessary adjustments to get it would be crazy?

Is best option install 18x8,75 ET35 front and install 18x8,75 et20 back?

Thank you very much and I hope your help and advice

    Regards

Roadkill, specs of your tyres and wheels, please

the perfect size for bbs Lm is 18x8,5 et30 but is very diffocult to find.
        I found it in 18x8 et 35
the truth is that is the best wheel for the s2 , no doubt, but I wanted another visual.....

The safe bet are the LMs, but I'd like to see you put on the other ones just to see them on an S car, but I won't be putting them on my car.

          HTH.

The XXR 527 are well known for cracking before they bend. They look cool but my opinion is to stay away.

                Original BBS LM 127 are 8,5 x 18 ET30.
I´ve fitted them on my S2 as you can see in the picture.

                BUT:
Beware from replica wheels , they crack and brake in pices.

I personally like the lm's. It's what I'm going with once i do my bbk upgrade.
