RS2 owners... show me your dashes!

Okay, so I have been doing a little looking around at the used car market in the EU and in the UK and have noticed that there were a few styles of dashboards / interiors offered for the RS2.

The three that I can think of (and I could be entirely wrong here) are ....

(1) Driver's Side Airbag only.
I have included an example of this below from a current advert...



This tends the be the most common, from what I can tell, and definitely my preference.

(2) Driver and Passenger Side Airbags

and..

(3) Driver and Passenger Side Airbags, with knee bolsters.

Am I off my kilter? Were there other options, I'm not aware of?

And, in this case, is a standard Audi 80/90 dashboard a direct replacement, or is there something different between the two.

Sorry, I could not find examples of the other types I mentioned with passenger airbags, but I've seen quite a few advertised in the last few months, so I know they are out there.

Can you provide pics of yours, or explanation of the options that were avail?

Don;t know about RS2 but pretty certain we never got passenger side airbag in the coupe model here in the UK. Never seen onewith airbag on passsenger side, seen a few coupes with the sport airbag wheel (as in your foto),

Very clean RS2.

Knee bolsters (and different glovebox) was on all double airbag US-spec cars and 1993 European cars. All B3/B4 dashboards are p&p interchangable except those with knee bolsters - they needs some more work because bolster under steering wheel and glovebox mounts directly to chassis using brackets not to dashboard as others.

So, I wonder, did all the dual airbag cars also get those knee pads under the dash?

Can you tell me the model year of the one on the left and then the one on the right?

Nop, only Model 94 with passenger airbag have this knee pads.
The left one is MY 95 and the right one MY 94.

Correct. No RHD 80/S2/RS2 came with a passengers airbag.
