Tresser lights - Avant

Hello,
I'm thinking of getting some smoked Tresser or Hella rear lights for my Avant.

Does anyone have pictures of a set on a silver Avant?

In my opinion they will look great on a silver avant. I don't have a photo to share but try google. THere are some new high quality remaining CAC on ebay Id snatch up before they are gone.

RS2 red panel from Audi Tradition might be dearer and more grief, but would be worth it.

Apologies, forgot you'd need an RS2 rear bumper, and then a matching RS2 front bumper.

Audi 90 red red panel might be an option. A few on here have done it.

I would like the RS2 rear panel, but as you say, it cant really be done without a full RS2 body.
I Love Silver RS2s...and wanted to fit RS bodywork, but with S2 Avants being so rare I felt it was not the thing to do, so just went with some BBS and suspension.

I am worried the light will look a little chavy, they look factory on some S2s ( like that grey coupe from Norway) and others they look like cheap spray tinted lights.

It looks good in my mind.... but I already googled and cant see a silver Avant. I think I will just get some and re sell if I don't like them.

Get tinting light wraps instead. Much cheaper

Genuine ones although treser didn't officially do them as far as I know , it was actually siema

They look nice on yours, one of the reasons I want a set.
So far my car is all period mods/OEM and I think the lights fit in with that.

Don't forget also that you need to clearly see reflectors in them, all these chavs driving round spray over them but they are an mot requirement

I would not do a tint job on my car. I'm saying no more than that as I don't want to offend anyone with my opinion.

Seima and Hella made the smoked lights for Audi 80 Avant but I believe only the Hella were Treser authorised lights, I have one brand new light in original box with Hella and Treser printed on side of box, I may be waiting a while to find the full set for my s2 avant. I have a full set of used Seima going on in the meantime, going to look good against pearl white, will get some pics up when they are on.
