I don't think so, B6 bearings are a flanged unit that bolts into the upright.
I'm sure it is the same size IDs on the bearing though.

The rears (on quattros of course) are all 75mm OD but some have stepped inner races and others do not.
I will take back the "all" but the 893498625E kit has a 82 mm bearing and the 893498625E kit in Europe includes the 7A, 3B, ACZ, ABC, AAH, and ABY as well as the RS2 ADU (subject of the original post) (and their respective transmissions).

The RS2 rear axle bearing is 4D0407625E which is a 82 x 37 double ball bearing (NOT at 75 mm as you suggest (so now we are even) ). 4D0407625E has some B4 Audi 80 applications as well as some C4, C5 and S2 applications, including the front wheel bearing.

I have investigated the 4D0407625E before. It is the replacement bearing for the 4A0407625A one and at least on a C4 UrS, it is used for both the front and rear hubs.

To add to what has already been said here.

893 498 625 E is the correct number for the kit, but if you only wish to buy the bearing without the circlips and new bolt you can use the Audi OE number 441 407 625 A or FAG number 800941C, as seen below.

The RS2 uses the same 82mm bearing on both front and rear axles.

It's in the secret stamm, like the number for the rear main seal gasket without the outer aluminum piece attached.

The number was done away with when Audi decided that they wanted to force you to spend more money by selling you a kit.

So like this (below), no step. 18/18 split (with 1 mm gap = 37 deep x 82 mm OD, no step)?

I have no idea about these things so will go with the FAG ones. Will wait till home before going into more detail, and have to keep cost down too, so getting her up on the axle stands first and get as much of the work done myself, don't have any press/puller so will need to take hubs to a friend...

Thanks for all the insight guys

Who is pressing in the new bearings for you? If i had to guess i would suspect they are pressing in the bearing by the center race which will fook it up. You also have to support the back side of the center race while pressing the hub in.

So are you supposed to press the flange into the bearing whilst somehow supporting the bearing both sides? I'm sure the fella is pressing it in right he has many experience but will double check

First you press the bearing in by its outer race, then you press the hub flange into the bearing. While pressing in the flange you have to support the bearing by the center race on the back side.

Just make sure he is pressing the bearing in by the outer race and not the inner, i.e. use the old bearing outer race to press it in.
