POOR-BOY i wouldn't like to remove it just to be on the safe side & to keep it standard.
RIKKI KITTO what do you mean by "the charge looks high"? & do you mean the rad looks rough?
ERROR404 where's the best place to get a new one i take you it can't refurb them?
Yes 14v on the volt meter is high, if the aux rad is not leaking it's not shot but it looks on it's way out, most people delete them with no worries in the UK a new replacement will set you back ÂŁ180 Vidar Skothiem does a nice all ally version
Yeah I think the original Aux rad is copper cored, they can be refurbed for between ÂŁ100 and ÂŁ150 but as Alex (Error404) mentions their not really required on a UK car, though I'd want one fitted if I lived in middle east or say Africa.
The tidiest way of deleting it is to use a a 10V Berh main rad and hoses, better still is an uprated alloy job, Colin Ray (ex Radtech) fabricates nice units for a very fair price.
Sorry for not responding on the other thread we were chatting on, been very busy with work lately along with being plagued by migraines, hence why I'm sat inside today as opposed to out enjoying the weather, was supposed to being going to Bugjam.

K Simmonds I still want Aux rad just incase we do get stupidly hot days like a few week back that was bloody ridiculous & felt like i was in the middle east plus if i wanted to drive it or should i say if i wanted to be driven to my other house in france whoere it gets into the late 30's to early 40's so i'd rather have just for peice of mind.
I want to keep the car as standard as possible so i think having an alloy rad would not ruin it but just look out of place so i think best thing to do would be to have it refurbed its a win win situation.
Juvkam78 it is lovely but definitely needs a new lick of paint then it will be a gem I'm not sure whether to have the wheels on it refurbed of just buy some brand spankers?
Get one before someone else does. I think from memory I got my replacement Aux Rad from this place about a year or so ago. Pretty sure it was an OEM Behr unit but you could ask Teg on here (who I sold the car to) to check his to confirm. The ad does not confirm but it looks OEM to me
