Washed engine bay before fiting rebuild engine

BTW that engine bay looks spanking, wish i did mine now when the engine was out. But hey, if i did it would be just as dirty now anyway!

Thats for the headlamp washer bottle, yes there are two bottles on the 3b, where as the aby has one for screen and headlamps

But if I fill up the "top" filler cap (ie the one nearest the suspension), water gushes out around the wheel arch, but if I fill up the one nearest the front of the car, it's fine? What's that all about? My headlamp and my windscreen jets both definitely work, as does the rear screen one, which of course has a separate bottle in the back?

Bonkers! I assumed I had the 2nd one as the first one had broken and someone couldn't be bothered to repair/take it out? Now it seems the 3B had redundancy in it's washer bottles as standard?!

mine does the same.the headlight washer bottle is split but still holds some. but i don't bother with it as it's extra weight.it gets washed regular anyway.i've even taken my spare out and replaced it with tyre foam,to save a bit.

If you fill the headlamp washer bottle that's ~7kg of extra weight!
