Just bought me a S2 ABY

Just a quick post, not really a project, yet.... Just picked this up yesterday, it was only a few miles away. Guy owned it for 15 years, hasn't run in about 1 1/2 years. Last MOT'd in 2009.

1993 S2 ABY 183K
Standard apart from cats removed
17" Audi A8 wheels

Not sure what to do with it, had it up on the lift, solid enough car, abit scruffy, I was supposed to be fitting VEMS to my URS6....

Hope to get it running this week, it had an aftermarket alarm/immobilizer fitted, wiring has been played with.

Swop out the bonnet grille for an oem one with black chrom edge.

Nice, but will it not dilute your efforts on the UrS6.

Thanks for the comments. I hadn't really planned to buy the car let alone start another project. Might get it running and then put it on hold for while, let me finish the S6 first.

I will lose the grill, I prefer OEM+ on my cars.

@S2nood : I can say how much I paid for it, haven't decidied if I'm keeping it yet :-)ay

Anyway, had a quick look at it during the week, can't get it to run, or even turn over for that matter. Removed one bodged immobilizer. Still have another VAG unit to remove, doesn't look factory though and has been cut a taped all over the place.
