Audi CQ B3 electronic heater control instalation question

Hi. Im planning on fitting electronic a/c controles, have bought the panel already. Im wandering if anyone knows what else do i need to have so that everything works, for example do i need get wiring for it too or is it the part of main wiring? I have manual heater control but the car has factory fitted a/c. The one that is in the car at the moment:

And the one i have bought is this:

I want to restore this car to its top genuine spec, so have already sinked a load of cash into it..
    this is the car itself:

Oh man. You need a lot of flap motors/servos and the harness, etc.

IMO, just stick with the manual system.

Its been done by a few clever people on here, and me. It's quite an involved job but actually not overly difficult if you are not scared of a LOT of wiring and tracing out schematics etc. Johne was the first to do it and he created a really good guide on it.

You want to forget that old vacuum control unit you have there and get the later digital unit.
Find a climate equipped early B5 A4 or passat in a breakers yard and harvest what you need.

Old vacuum B3 climate is bolt-on including wiring if you find all the necessary stuff including harness. Underbonnet harness for climate equimpment is also its own (but not needed if only electronic heater without aircon pipes is wanted).

Did B3 climates for RHD cars exist actually?

Audi never offered climate control for RHD.
So you cannot use the older vacuum system as there is no suitable heater box to work with RHD.
It is only by coincidence that the B5 heater box with control motors will mate with the B3/B4 heater box.

If it was a LHD car to be equipped with old vacuum electronic climate-control you would need that (regardless of some minor stuff):

Later B4 electronic climate-control parts are 'logically' the same, but look different. B4 climate would be more interesting, but it is not bolt on, especially on RHDs.

So, it means that vacuum climate is just impossible.

Just forget photos i posted, sorry.
