Sounds like a pretty good babysitting job!

Looks lovely in the pics - more motivation for me to get my car on wheels and up to Ish's workshop...

Merry Xmas all, car is snug in the garden under a Stormforce cover

Steve will let me know when he's sorted in China but could someone link me to Ish's website as I'll give him a call and pop over for him to complete some of the work in Jan.

        Cheers

            LOL.

Make sure it is stored on high ground and insured on a comprehensive basis for any drivers.

            Safe trip.

Thanks guys luckily I live just outside the city away from the river so although the garden is a bit swampy the car is safe!!

Maybe a silly question but how come this RS2 has a boost gauge on the middle air vent whereas most I see pictures of don't? It looks original, was it an option?

Not original, a nicely fitted after market arrangement. If it is the alloy holder, they are sometimes available on e-bay.

tbh, it's a very worthwhile addition to an S car, a bit like HIDs.

                    HTH.

Would like a few of the black plastic moulded ones for a UrS6 dash vent.

                      I see, thanks. It's in a plastic holder I think, I'll get a picture.

Please tell me this car isn't going to be stored outdoors...

Even under a car cover, there's too much that can happen to such a car. I highly suggest finding a nice dry storage place indoors for it. And, then put the cover on it!

Have to agree, it should be in a garage or warehouse. Decent car port as an absolute minimum. It is too 'harsh' for the car to be stored under a flapping constantly blowing rubbing car cover. Just my own opinion.

Has to be somewhere that will work and is inexpensive within a 30 mile radius.

Look at any car that is stood in a breakers yard for a few months.
