rolled the car out today to test.

a few issues still to sort. defi cable broken, fan not working, dipstick oil leak...its nearly there though

anyone recommend an injector cleaner? I may need to test fuel pressure. seems to be running a tad leaner than it used to do. a quick tweak on req_fuel addresses the issue? gonna swap in another o44 to see if the pumps weak.

no boost runs yet.

yeah,the fuelpump makes a strange noise

yeh. pump sounds iffy. its relayed up. gets the sound like its low on fuel. sound also fluctuates a little.

any ideas on potential issues. pump is under car. tank is in boot like ur quattro. tank is clean. lines from pump to filter new. new filter.

maybe tank vacuum?

lol. here goes. bought 2 044's from a wrc escort cosworth about 8 years ago, the one fitted i never used before. the other i used to run on my s2 and was fine. my mate has it. i can refit it. that pump hasn't run for 5+ years.

stock reg, original aby. not run for 5 + years.

its a mega budget project lol.

i tested the pump prior to fitting it but its a different ball game when under pressure. to get things back i need to add 10-15% req_fuel at present.

i need tpo test req and pump. at weekend i was going to do this but whilst fixing the dipstick oil leak i looked for cause and found all block breathers totally blocked with crud. didn that instead.
