New member here

Picked this up on Friday afternoon from Cambridge. It's a bit rough round the edges and needs a bit of love to bring it back to a useable standard.

So far I've only driven 60 miles home and parked it in the garage

Looking forward to getting involved with rs2 ownership and from what I can gather the eternal hunt for parts!

So are you a committed RS2 enthusiast or an opportunistic flipper? I will help a committed enthusiast solving issues when/where I can but a flipper can take a flying leap at a spiked rolling donut.

Been burned before (recently) by an RS2 flipper posing as an ethusiast. Not going to waste my time like that again.

Just to put the record straight and before anyone gets their knickers in a twist, this new member is my son. And one more thing, whatever happened to you by a "flipper" is entirely down to you, its not their fault if they make money out of you its the way of the world my friend.

I knew I'd seen that number plate recently, wasn't hard to work out who as it was one of 2 bought by the same person in as many weeks with plates that are pretty unique 'M8...' & 'OKJ...'

Hope you both have fun together, or will it tear you apart and cause rows when an NLA part comes up that you both want...

Weve already coming up against the NLA sitation but there are obviously was around everything its just that sometime a little compromising has to be allowed for.. Anyway its my lads thread i will let him update on a regular basis as and when he can.

You are right in stating that you have just started the journey of looking for parts some of which are NLA but with all the really nice and knowledgeable chaps on the forum you stand a small chance of getting them.
