  • New Member Blue RS2

    Hi, new member here.

Just picked up Neal's blue RS2 this afternoon, and drove two and half hours back to Birmingham (horrible traffic on M1). What a car. It has perfect body work for its age. The interior leathers are in good condition. Everything works. Love the turbo after 3k rpm. I don't intend to modify it. Just like what Neal has done. I will try to keep it in the best condition possible. Whenever parts need to be replaced or upgraded, they will be done the right way (I hope so, so much to learn).

Could anyone recommend a RS specialist in Birmingham area who knows about RS2? Many thanks.

    Just messing.......... Welcome.

Nice I5 engined car to start on.

When you are more familiar with it and more 'used to' it's performance, you may decide to chip it.

Look after it, as it is now an heirloom and prices are increasing to where they should be.

    Enjoy.

Thanks for the suggestion. If can't find anything closer, I might give your dad a call in the future.

It has PRJ custom map already. It's definitely quick enough for me. In fact it feels quicker in 2nd gear after 3k rpm than my 964 C4. But the spring behind throttle pedal needs some to get use to...

964 is been restored at the moment. Hopefully I will be able to get the pair together before summer ends.

Great buy and it will be quicker than your 964. I've got a 996 turbo running 600bhp and my ur keeps it honest.

                        Get some pictures up.

                        Oh and welcome..

                          Looking forward to the photos.
