    Jeepers!

So glad to here you and Holly made it out ok

The car looks like you did a proper job on it just wish you could find the numpty who put you there .

As John has stated, and with some great driving skills and razor sharp reflexes it looks like you managed to miss the fuel filler door

Holly is not looking to pleased in the picture or is she just tired from a hard days work.

You and Kit have certainly cracked on stripping the car, remind me never to leave my car anywhere near you 2

    Good luck with everything Charlie

    John

Getting lighter! Cheers for your help today Kit.

The wheels on the other side are both facing straight forward

Kit wrestled the driver's seat out today, I thought the seating position was a little strange

This is the bump stop at the front of the engine that sustained a little tap...

    ...and just fell off

This resulted in the pistons having a little argument with the inlet valves

Which are now bent, as Kit predicted

Looks like we'll have to stick them on the bench and hit them with a hammer until they look straight.

edit: Oh yeah, and asking Kit to ask me to hold parts for you isn't going to work. If and when I feel like selling anything I will announce it in the "Parts for sale" section.

    Yes I guess I was!

Here's the passenger seat that did come out with a little shove

As for old tyres, there's the 595's that were on the wheels at the time of the accident, but I don't have a tyre removal machine to hand although I think I do have a set of fairly good tyres that came with the car when I bought it.

As for the driver's door I haven't really taken any pictures of it but is is out of alignment suggesting the hinges are knackered at least

Somehow they're the only pictures I seem to have taken of the driver's door.

As for aches and pains and bits falling off, no, I seem to have come off a little better than the car. I have a slight red mark from the airbag burn to my wrist

P.s. Still not taking any requests for parts yet I'm afraid

Yep as you say anything off of one of these rare motors has a value nowadays ....

Any thing of use will be removed.

Pretty sure the grill rings survived along with the whole grill, somewhat remarkably, though Charlie wants these parts for his LHD car...I think.

It's a sign of the forces exerted on the car when you're struggling to salvage interior bits.

How are you Charlie, any aches, pains or bits falling off!?
