Spotted at Nurburgring

Had a disastrous trip to the ring this weekend just gone 10th Sept and saw two S cars. A blue URS4 avant reg; K*** ABA and a P plate URS6 avant in green I didn't catch the reg of. Anyone on here just out of interest? Sure if seen the S4 before???

Yep I'm the k plate urs4. 13 of us in 6 cars went and had a brill time. We had a mx5, my urs4, a BMW 330d coupe, s3, a45amg and a 700 bhp gtr. It was our first time. Ring taxi is nuts...

We go twice a year in E46 M3 track cars. Love the place!!

Unfortunately this year mine made it to Aachen and spewed it's engine oil (4litres of) out of the Vanos block and under the car so there it stayed for the weekend ��

What BHP is the URS4?

Green blue coloured m3? The urs4 is 450 hp but on a blast down the autobahn I discovered I have an oil crankcase breather issue so I just ran it on waste gate boost on track. It's my first time there and I was totally lost lol.

No no. Mine is Silver-Grey and Matts is Silver.
We've been there quite a few times now. It takes a while to learn it.

Yep I reckon it would take me 50 odd laps to start and have an idea. Do you get hit with fines for dropping oil?

I believe that if the track is closed due to it it is £1,500 per hour!

It's a bit scarey. When guys are passing you like your stopped in gt3's and gumbert apolos etc what happens in a smash? Eg who pays who?

I've never looked into it to be honest but I do believe 'insuremytrackday' or such like do now cover the ring!

A mate of mine went out with a trailer to drag it back. First failure in all our trips and it's the mechanics car - typical.

Ha. No thankfully. I drove through it and thought it'd be shut for a while and went home at that point!

What boat did you take across? We went Hull to Rotherdam but we are just trying to work out the best route for next year. Did you have to pay the yellow lorry guys to recover you from the track?
