  • This may upset the purists..

I have just fitted B6 mudflaps to my B5 RS4. I know many would disagree but I need to protect the paint as I live in the country the roads aren't the best. Plus I quite like the look as always had flaps on my old A4s.. They fit well with minimal tweaking..

Just need to do the rears which require very little tweaking too..

        Rears

A tad more fiddly because of the spring clips that are very strong.

I have no idea why all the pics have been rotated 90 degrees. However if anyone has considered fitting mudflaps to protect the bottoms of the doors and wings on their Rs4 it's possible with B6 avant flaps and a little tweak here and there..

I'm all for originality until something comes along and makes it even better. A big thumbs up from me.

Thank you. I think it's a grown up car and it suits it. Most importantly it protects the paint work..

That's the modification Audi wish they'd thought of.
                  Looks well

Yep, I like that, always wanted some on my coupe.... might save me having to wash it all through summer

I'm pleased. They are subtle and look as though they were intended for the car. A friend thinks I'm mad, although he'd rather keep painting doors and be cool.

I understand why you fitted them, but it looks horrible

But yeah without those mudflaps you are gonna have to respray the wings every 3-4 years.

I get it, you use the car......it's not an ornament, it needs these.

                            And looks purposeful

Looks right to me but it's your car dress her up as you wish. Form and function can't go wrong
