I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?

... Running on a '96> Transporter 'box. It's the only one that will fit the ABY engine.

There is a guy who has a 2.2 5 pot in a Mk1 Golf with full quattro running gear as well :eek2: and about 600 bhp. He works at AET Turbos in Wakefiled

              www.aet-turbos.co.uk

I think his name is Grant but don't quote me on that.

Leigh - yeah, Grant told me he was running something like 700hp (?) on that Golf now... It compares similar performance wise to the Dialynx Sport Quattro thingy.

No idea what's in it - Presumably massive turbo and a couple of hundred shot of Nitrous? I did mention the S2 forum to him, but don't know whether he'll bob by for a chat *shrug*.

                  'The Bacofoil Express'...

                  No more.

Leon TDI 150 run in now.

                  Very slow.

                  Needs a chip.

Sounds like Grant Parker @ Dubweiser. Has he left that company now, or is it part of AET turbos? 700PS!? ops: :eek2:

If it is Grant at AET he was there 6 months ago when they rebuilt my turbo. As far as I know the car has no nitrous. They way he expalined it was 'pikes peak spec' :eek2: pretty sure It has air ducs on the rear wings to feed rads in the back etc.

There is some video of if somewhere on the net at a drag strip and boy is it fast. At the time it says they were running it in and it was only at about 450 bhp. Still chewed most things up and spat them out!
