Chris the owner has sent me some more piccy's so I thought I would share them...

He has also given me some history on the car...

Some were taken at Goodwood Festival 04, where it was lucky enough to win its class for US-powered hybrids in the Cartier Concours.

The one at Brooklands shows myself (in glasses) chatting to a former Lele-owning club member.

I had an XK120 roadster about 35 years ago - one day I will get another.

Funny you should mention Gordon Keeble, because there is a relationship between it and Iso of Milan. Isorivolta was a major Italian constructor of scooters and light motorcycles in the 1950s, and also invented the Isetta bubblecar, which they sold the rights to various companies (such as Trojan, BMW etc) to manufacture. This made them a lot of money, and they decided to go into the supercar business. They looked at the Gordon Keeble prototype with a view to possible manufacture in Italy, but decided to build their own car their way. It was very similar to the Keeble in a number of respects! Google "Iso Rivolta", and you will see a strong likeness. It was a 4-seater GT, styled by Bertone (as was the Keeble) and used a Chevrolet Corvette 5.3 litre V8. They built nearly 800 from 1962-70.

The Grifo was a shorter chassis sportier version of the Rivolta GT, also styled by Bertone, using the same running gear. Corvette V8's were fitted with various cc over the years - 5.3, 5.7, 7.0 and 7.4 litre. The last few Grifos used Ford 5.8 Cleveland engines. 412 Grifos were built, 90 of hich were 7 litre big block cars. Mine is 7.5 litre Chevy 454, now giving 500hp and 500 ft lb on the dyno. Mine was the first of 4 RHD Grifo 7 litres built, and was the 1968 Earls Court Show car. I bought it in 1987, restored it 1990-94 and have been tinkering with it ever since!
