No still havent sorted that yet, havent had much time to do anything on it the last couple of weeks, or months even. i did a trial fit and it only needed trimming slightly, but if you mount your i/c as close to your flywheel pulley as you can, mine is about an inch away, maybe if it was 15mm away it will fit fine,
i thought about cutting a big hole behind the number plate but leave 2 strips so you can still screw the number plate to the bumper.
are you getting the x-member made at the same place as tom then?
when will you get your i/c?

Tom, heres where i cut my bumper.
the yellow lines are roughly what i cut off, the arrow is where the LH grill used to clip into but it clips through the centre grill also, which is held strongly enough anyway so i just lopped it off
ps.sorry for the thread hijack

Cheers Martin. Sounds like it should be fairly straight forward. Im gonna cut away the number plate backing area and fill with mesh, then attach the number over the mesh. Should increase air flow.
I spoke to the Police regarding moving the number plate. Ie onto the bonnet. Basically if the car has a bumper that the number plate fixed to originally, then it must always do so. If it has no bumper then it can be mounted anywhere.sigpic
