I found a S2 on pistonheads. It's been sitting around for a year or so,. No tax or test HPI shows multiple losses the worst in 2007 CAT C. Will the engine of suffered due to not being used. What should i look for if i go to see it.

could be cheap to buy but cost twice as much to get back on the road.
BUT you could buy a road worthy one like me...and still spend lots on it haha1996 Audi S2 - 295bhp and 326lb/ft - Complete Rebuild Project

Could be a potential bargain, but you need to go into it with your eyes open as these things drain your bank account like nothing else! If you go and look at it ask if any local forum members can go with you.sigpic

would you put a couple of grand on a horse tomorrow thinking it might win and you'll get lucky ?
save your money. will be a bad carrot ! spend that little bit extra and buy a good one. if money is tight, a cheap s2 isn't for you. and i don't mean that in a nasty way. always false economy buying cheap. buy the best you can afford.
