Since when did these go up in value by 100k!?? I'm sure they were going for around 50k not long ago? I do like them but not that much..

It may be the 54k miles and bespoke green colour that adds the extra £100k!

There were only five colours "offered", i.e. white, red, blue, black and green. With demand high and only 214 made (and not all available to the public), if you managed to snag any one, any colour, you would have been chuffed.

Here is the list of all 214:

                RS2'd 93 UrS4 5 spd sedan
                94 UrS4 V8 6 spd manual avant

You say "usual...black" like it was common. Only 2 of the original 214 were black when they left the factory AFAIK:

They will be saying the same about the current trend of white cars in years to come. Green / Racing Green / Oak Green were all big draw colours back in the day

ISTR there were only actually 164 roadgoing ones... They were slightly economical with the truth... Note the huge gaps in the numbers (some say taken up as works chassis numbers, but whether that's true, I've no idea) and the 'scrapped or work hacks', then there's the odd batch from sept'88, long after homologation, which were 'parts bin specials'...
