Be careful with this chap guys! Bit of a timewaster who's a bit unrealistic about what the car's worth! Accepted a good deal with my brother's clean BMW as px + a lot of cash after a week of haggling. We were about to travel 200 miles last Sunday to collect and he suddenly decided that he wasn't interested!! No wonder he hasn't sold it yet in over a month of trying!

Depends on the circumstances - we all have our own views on what our cars are worth, that is human nature after all.

Agreeing to a deal then backing out later is a different kettle of fish.

i would have chosen to use the official complaints procedure though - why slate someone publicy. I think thats out of order

If you read my post, you'll see I'm not taking sides, merely going by what the two parties have said. They both chose to post disputes on a public forum afterall...

I wasn't trying to be nasty and there's certainly no sour grapes but isn't the purpose of this forum to help and advise other members and to share our own experiences?? All I've done is to share my brother's dealings with this chap to help other's make an informed decision as to whether it's worth them taking the time to deal with this particular person! I stated the facts and this person knows that he went back on a deal. I could have gone into greater detail but chose not to as I'm not out to offend anyone! That said it seems like a sound car at the right price, why else would my brother and I have taken the time and been so keen to do a deal with this guy!?!

                  No hard feelings!!

hey i have to say i have personnaly purchased some parts for my s2 some time ago from ANEES and i had no problem. we actually managed to leave a door card behind and he came and droppeds it of a few days later which i thought was pretty cool.

                    definetly no time waster

would definetly do business with him again. maybe they just got there wires crossed no biggy look at the bright side you could have travelled 200 miles and then gone back empty handed now that would be annoying!!

Well in that case, I'd just like to say that I too looked at this car and I too was taken with both the price and the car itself. Anees seems like a sound guy with a sound reason for his sale.

I only went for another one because the extra recent work on the car pointed towards less work needing to be done in the future...... but only time will tell!

                      G'luck Anees.

NCTS - with the obvious exception to having viewed and driven the car!

have seen the car around definetly a good buy at a very reasonable price. considering people are asking similar money for there J reg S2.

                        GOOD Luck with the sale.
