Yep, seems like it will go for silly money. Think I'll keep my silly money and buy a new one

I thought a new RS2 grill cost £140 or there abouts IIRC. Even sillier money I would have said (I bought one a few years back).

When i say silly money, it's £65 + £15 p&p and it's second hand! with 8days to go on the auction

Rather buy a brand new one from VAGParts

Fair point, well made. They do look good, though the new price ain't so nice.

If you are one of those people who likes to maintain a pristine engine bay (not me)then forget it, the mesh lets a lot more crud in there than that of the standard grill.

Really? even if you still have aux rad fitted? as I've heard that lets alot of dirt into engine bay if you have removed it.

I'd imagine so, it's the road spray it gets everywhere, even as far back as the fire wall.
It's at its worst during the winter weather, the bay gets covered in white salty cack.
