I've never seen a new set for sale before. Very nice.

I can't help but think that he's limited his market of potential buyers to those with more money than sense.
Nobody in their right mind would pay anywhere close to the start price. A starting price of £683 .......pffffft insane.

I was expecting to see the packaging when I saw this auction as they are advertised as "new", hmmm, that'll be 9 years new at least.

I would expect the box and a spare set of lights at that price.

Careless people toss the original packaging and boxes away- Iam sure most of you guys do this too, but when it comes to rare and expensive parts like these I keep all documents/packaging and even the item win page from Ebay as proof of purchase for my Insurance records.

It's always handy if you ever decide to resell or show your car right?

Absolutely, I tend to keep the original packaging for a number of things, especially electrical goods. To make a point, I still have a 48K Sinclair ZX Spectrum still with it's original box and manuals. Not that it's likely to be worth much.

I think original packaging will always help the resell value, it suggests to me a careful owner.

That makes good sense to me. Besides that, I love being close to cardboard, especially in box form

I used to keep all the boxes for everything I bought, until I moved home earlier this year. I went up into the loft and found boxes for items that I'd thrown out years ago!
