    Was browsing net and found parts supplier that searches breakers all over uk and it's free!

    Just thought I would post it in case any one was interested, don't know what service is like but might be better than going to Italy!!
    A6 Avant Tdi 110 because as the fuel prices keep going up I am so happy to be getting 649.8 miles to a tank of diesel!! (£50)

          If anyone uses this service just be careful...
          last time I submitted a request, for a BMW part, I got three returns, two of which were more expensive than dealer price for a new item!

          there are, IN MY OPINION, some dubious suppliers on the end of those searches.

                  Another place to try for spares is.... http://www.carbreakers-uk.com/index.htm
                  They are based in Rugby and I have used them myself. service has been ok and they do have a huge stock of parts. Happy hunting!
