    She's still for sale...

She now has fresh Valvoline fully synthetic 5w50 and VAG oil filter.

The doors now have 5.25" JBL Power speakers fitted with the original 5.25" components in the standard rear locations.

I have had interest off ebay (ends Monday, 7 pm) but not off the forum. I am open to offers so please contact me if you are interested.

Thanks! Selling cars to take on more responsibility is one of those things. If I could work the S2 into my future plans then I would. Had some fun today in a very slippery car park as a sort of parting shot of the old girl! (Shhhhhhhh) If things were different then we could have swapped cars as I would love a toy like you're selling. A standard S2 is fun and very comfortable as a daily but as a weekend toy I can imagine that 350+bhp is a bit more like it! Might stand a chance against my mates 3 door Sierra Cosworth running 290ish bhp! (Useless in the wet though... usual Quattro story really!)

        Roll on Monday...

hope that walloper moaning about the paypal fees doesnt win your car(u should have told him u wanted 4% from him, just incase he ends up on here, complaining about people's spelling and swearing)u should have worded it different like if u pay deposit thru paypal a handling fee of £50 is required,i dont mind anyone asking for fees its all the people of weld it on at the end/or into the postage etc and hide it,and i bet u it was that closett that messed ur last auction up,trying to put people of bidding
I wish ebay, would clear all the shict in the car section like the 50p watches and crap like that, instead of pullling something that people r bidding on,doesnt make any sense to me(what did u actually do print there car names???)

Usual extra keywords for people looking for a high performance car. Evo, WRX, Cosworth etc. Bit silly of me really. As it happens I have a similar number of watchers now as I had when the auction was cancelled. Obviously didn't need the dodgy sub title after all.

Bloke moaning is up to him. I have stated what I expect from a buyer so just have to wait to be messed around by someone wanting money throung Western Union or some other scammer. Be just my luck the way things are going!

As for my auction being removed. Usual story, bad stuff happens to nice people and all that. I spent hours doing the auction ad and have been excessively honest about the car as well as providing information and background about the S2 in general. 10,000,000% better than some I've seen:

            Car.
            Good runner.
            MOT.

            Nice!

If Ebay want to get all the decent stuff off their site then they're going about it the right way.

Agree 100% Andy. One of the guys on audifans had his listing removed because of his title.
He too spent hours writing the article, and making sure potential buyers knew exactly what they were bidding on. They removed it with only 10 hours left to go
Another pet hate of mine is all the numpties who add "S2" into their titles when clearly the item isn't remotely S2 related, drives me mad as I search "S2" and get all this other junk up

One bid! Ebay have a lot to answer to for taking my original auction off. Re-listed with lower start bid. Have to wait 5 days for dissapointment now.

Bad luck on yours. It came quite close though. Not tried contacting the highest bidder?

I said 2 months to sell it and I'm one month in so not looking like a bad estimate.

Tried Ebay twice. Cheers for the support but no luck selling it. Time to try Auto Trader. At nearly half the price of the nearest S2 (£11k!!) I think I may be in with a chance.

...and I was wrong! Still no interest!

I am willing to offer a small 'reward' to anyone who can help me find a buyer. Asking price is £6.3 on Auto Trader, bottom line is £6k give or take £5. Anything less and I'll keep hold of it and try my luck another time.

She'll have another 6 months tax by the end of October. MOT is April.

I'll just keep on trying. There's someone out there who needs an Alpine white S2 coupe!
