Well if you read down, he's not actually selling the car, wants to "swap for something interesting". A weekend bungee jumping perhaps?

Was torque-steer an issue by-chance? My old GT with about 160bhp naturally aspirated, was a handful – I bet the steering is like mud wrestling with an eel!

Phil - I alway's remember the old Montego Turbo from the mid 80's - anyone who's driven one, especially a modified one, has met torque steer on the 'dark side' - evil machines - glad the GT handled the torque well. I suspect mine suffered from running 225/50/15's on 7 inch rims with an ET of 25 - so it was susceptible to 'follow the tram home' rather than go quietly.

For pastures16 – it was the tried and tested 2168cc re-bored KE engine (lightened & balanced) with schrick 270 deg cam and big valves. Modified airbox, exhaust (twin box stainless).

Here's a couple of the more common pic's

i know a few lads that went in a montego.the guy used all sorts of turbos(kept blowing something or other though)and they said it was the scariest thing they'd ever been in.he'd run like 30psi through any turbo he could get to do it. i especially like your last picture.
