This just sounds too expensive, even for those who actually pay for 'bling'

How about some suggestions for parts which could benefit from being remade from carbon fibre, either because of weight saving (bonnet etc), or redesign (airbox etc) or just rare (internal carbon trim) or broken a lot?

But cant we just make a plastic copy of it so it provides a better cooling function and not cost so much?

I'm with Rafael on this one. The thing we want is a cooler pipe. When I say 'cooler' I mean less warm for reduced air temps if at all possible. A plastic intake pipe does this nicely... but it won't *look* as cool as a carbon one.

Its a bling thing... Don't get me wrong I love the look of custom made carbon fibre but the money just doesn't justify the benefit for me.
