i know this my car but trust me anyone who buy's this car for 7k is getting a bargain just had the engine and box rebuilt last year with a BRAND NEW BLOCK and uprated con rods (after a con rod let go before) by Kim Collins cost 6k alone and this year has had new disk's at £850 and new clutch £1000 from qr sport.
Trust me if they was any other way to raise some money to fix my house the car would not be going anywhere.

If it does not sell might brake the car for parts so they could soon be all the RS2 parts for sale and all in excellent condition, bumper, grill, mirrors, intercooler, exhaust manifold MTM hybrid turbo and other bits

What is the full engine spec?
Type of pistons and rods etc.

Engine spec is New standard block
new standard pistions
RS2 conrod's
RS2 crankshaft and bearings
gas flowed cylinder head
And then the mtm 350BHP kit fitted not sure wot comes with this kit as when i rang QST they will not tell you about cam's or turbo spek, all i can tell is that it has the RS2 exhaust manifold, RS2 intercooler, MTM hybrid turbo, ecu remap and hyperboost dump valve. Also boost system has been modified by Automark to up the power more.

Bodywork is a little shabby,interior needs a good clean, apart from that quite good Buts its just down the road and its black,Cant understand why it has'nt got ellipsoids though and no avus alloys i thought that it would have.

I would say its because its a very early avant, whats the date of registration?

Its a 93, i found out that they started using the ellipsoids and avus whells on the 94s and onwards, if i get the car a friend has got a pair of ellipsoids on his 2 litre coupe, so i might have to make him an offer for them.

Be careful now - a pre ellipsoid Avant is a rare beast... even with those 'orrible looking old rims. The very 1st Avants into the UK (1993) had the ABY engine and 6-speed box but didn't have the Avus rims and ellipsoidal lamps that we normally associate with ABY cars.

If you want to send me the VIN by PM I can check out when it was built to verify its in the right window for this spec.

Dam did'nt write it down ive just sent the seller an e-mail asking for it but he's been really slow in geting back to me when ever i ask a question about the car so might have to be patient.

And I know of another one, owned by a bloke called Dave. I used to work with him and he frequents the forum occasionally. His was one of the UK press cars actually - it was featured in some magazines of the day. Totally standard apart from the ECU upgrade and RS2 ARBs that I fitted for him a couple of years ago.

Gives me an idea for a related thread...
