RS2 5 coilpack + cover + powerstages

Apart from the coil cover asked by Greg, I have another complete RS2 coil cover with 5 coilpack + the 2 power stages (one of the latter has the plug damaged, but should work fine):

Are this different to the ABY engine?

No, they are only worth to upgrade from the "distributor" ignition system (of the 3B) to the higher specs 5 coils one.
This allows managing higher boosts and power levels.
Don't know exact limit of 3B system, but Tom sayd he had some misfires when exceeding 1.8 bar peak boost. So if target is much over the 400 Hp range the upgrade could be very desirable.

What else would I need for my 3B to get rid of the distributor?

Dave I don't exactly know. This is a more specific field for our electronics experts as Mihnea and Paul N.

It might be needed to modify engine to ECU wiring loom to run the two power stages instead of 3B's single one.
