    Shipping for Marco's goodies

    Guys,

Just a thought for you all...

Now Marco has a garage full of goodies :-) and there are quite a lot of people having these parts. If the Italian job run doesn't go ahead, it will be a whole lot cheaper to ship all the parts in one lot from Italy to the Uk.

IF... people want to...?? then i can have my road freight shippers collect all the parts in one go from Marco and drop them to our heathrow warehouse. If we ship all the parts together in one go, then the shipping will be a lot, lot cheaper than shipping each part on its own. It will also probably be a lot easier for Marco to pack all the parts in one go and not have to worry about how to ship them etc!! We must think of Marco! he has done a great job of sourcing these goodies for us and paying for all of them himself first!!

Post what you think here. If you want to go it alone, no problem what so ever. All in one go, will just be cheaper and easier and we have the shippers ready and able to do this for us!

ONLY if this is ok with Marco?

    Absolutely agree.

That could also be a safer way to ship.
I mean I for first have been pretty worried about delivery all the time I've shipped something abroad. Never got lost anything, but who knows...
Sending a great number of packages will raise the risk.

After having waited some days for everybody to have the chance of looking through the listed parts (and I have a lot more at very low prices I'll post soon) I'll try to figure out dimensions and approx weight of the whole lot.

thanks for your comments. You got the spirit of this job: good deal for everybody.
Only dark spot now is not being able to find parts for everybody, knowing some of the items are very desirable for many people. I'll keep on searching around.

I don't mind contributing to shipping if it is split fairly. IMHO Someone with 10kg worth of bits should pay a bit less than someone with 50kg. If I am only shipping a battery cover I don't want to pay £50 in postage because a jiffy and stamps for a battery cover would make more sense for me.

I am well up for the italian job anyway and am planning to drive to Germany to collect some car parts early next year also.
