I think to fit those you would need to do some serious modding.

Hasn't S2Avant got some RS4 seats to go into his Avant?

Be worth asking Ben how he plans to do it.

Front seat runners are too wide to fit s2 floor.Have been looking into it for ben. I dont think recaro make bespoke subframes. We were looking at adapting the existing ones, but it is a lot of work!!! (nothing new then)

@jason Are you saying that the recaro subframes for the audi 80/s2 will not fit these seats?

I think most recaro seats have standard fittings. 6 screws - 4 at the front 2 at the back.
Apparently the 80 subframes fit the S2 nicely - but since I missed out on the pair on ebay, I'm looking into modding a pair of 80 seats to use just as subframes for my recaros.

This is proving to be more work than it sounds... basically the whole frame needs cutting away with a new frame built around the 3 mounting points...... bah - wish I'd paid out for the genuine recaro items now!

Yes.Ben did all the research looking for subframes with recaroand i think they said that a subframe was not avalable. The seats dont have a removable "fit all cars" subframe. The hight adjustment is incorperated in to the seat base. The problem with narrowing the subframe is it interfears with the seat belt buckle.I have measured it up and it would be do-able but We have been busy with other projects
