Had someone email me about my auction, they are looking at fitting it to a VW jetta, or Audi 1.8T engine.
Does anyone know how efficient the standard S2 IC is? and also wether it would be suitable for this IC to be used when 28psi boost being used on this engine?

Greg, no idea of OEM IC efficiencyes.
But if the engine is supposed to run at approx same rpms as the S2, flow velocity difference through the IC will roughly be proportional to the displacements differencies.
Therefore on a 1.8L flow speed will be ~ 19% slower thus having more time to cool out charge. IC capability of taking heat off the intake charge is however inversally proportional to charge density (wich depends on boost).
I would than say (always very roughly) that running on a 1.8L (same rpm as S2) ABY intercooler @ 28psi would be about the same as boosting 22.6 bar on the ABY engine. Which is a little to the limit, but still acceptable.
