.... and second hand ones tend to have:

Chipped & pitted glass (£50 replacement), noticeably dullened internal reflectors (not available separately) and corroded adjusting knob shafts meaning that getting them to align is nigh on impossible. I wouldn't again given the choice.

I didn't bother either. Straight to my stealer for mine. It means your headlights will be as bright as new, brighter than say a '95 S2 Coupé with its originals.
