can't afford a risk, unfortunately. Annoying thing is that i almost went to see this car about 4 months ago - it was being sold on sale or return by a garage called Country Car Sales I think, a petrol station outside wheathamstead near St Albans if i remember correctly. It disappeared from the Trader after about 6-8 weeks and i assumed it had been sold.... but i guess it was just returned to owner instead - who is now trying to sell it.

yeah i know Pete - that and the stealer's price were what put me off first time round! However, if the car was otherwise sound i think i'd take that pain for a 4grand discount! could put the money towards carbon trim (or that cheeky alcantara mod) and a three-spoker.

I have a feeling this car was up on the 'Trader a few weeks back.... and that it may not have had FSH, but we'll see. If it sells first time round i don't have time to see this one either. Its a real ****er because i'll have all the time in the world to go check cars out AFTER christmas. sodding deadlines !!

This has definately been for sale on Ebay a couple of times before - a good few months ago though........ There has been a thread or two about it on here, but not sure where now....(Do posts get deleted after a period of time?)

I certainly remember the pictures of it on the vendors drive, as, partly being in the shade, it made the windows look as though they had ( what I call ) pimp daddy tints

That's right Dean, I recognised the driveway he'd parked on as well. Must have been looking too hard for too long The "Grosvenor" van behind rang a bell, too. I'll trawl through the old posts later and see what i can find.

yeah, i know the first one is LHD..... but if it goes for under 10 grand that's still cheap for 67K miler. admittedly its got wood trim and the older steering wheel (not to my taste, personally), but its also got all the bells and whistles like cruise control, heated seats etc etc. And LHDs got electronic climate control rather than just A/C.

Hard to argue with the steering wheel being on the wrong side when it might be as much as 10 grand cheaper than a RHD version with lower spec...... in my opinion anyway.
