Hi Shirish,

I don't know much about it - though as stated above i'm pretty sure that its not the first time its been advertised. My memory is that last time he was asking 15 grand for it on autotrader, but i could be wrong. I contacted the guy by email about it yesterday (i still don't have time to go check it out unfortunately, so it was more out of interest than anything else). He replied very promptly, but asked me to ring him for answers to my questions, rather than to answer my questions over email. Since i haven't got time to go to see the car before the end of the auction anyway , i explained to him i wouldn't trouble him for details if that was the case.

Might be worth giving him a ring..... i couldn't get out of him whether it has FULL service history or not..... the service books go walkies on these cars with alarming regularity.....

Yeah, I agree, drives me mad the amount of people who don't bother to keep receipts/invoices etc, thinking a stamp in the book is sufficient....it ain't.

Don't think I can make it there in time either, otherwise I'd take a look myself.

Thanks to Simon (cuz-gs), i've at least had a chance to get up close and drive one of these beasts! What a car! I thought my 911 was quick, but a nice blast around the Excel centre in East London earlier today proved Simon's mint example at least, is in a different league.

As i say, i don't know the history of his car - it could be FSH with all the receipts..... he certainly has a lot of receipts i think. just not sure he's got the service manual and a record of FSH too. That's what i was hoping to find out in my email..... but he not unreasonably asked me to ring him instead.

the RHD RS2 89,500 miler on Fleabay just sold for 12grand:

didn't have time to go see it first, so didn't bid. was surprised to see the reserve set at 12K, given i'm pretty sure the car was advertised on the Trader a few months back for 15K....
