SOLD
This is on the verge of getting painful. If I don't sell this car I'm going to have to sell the S2 Avant that I bought to replace it! Lazer Red, with black leather, very good condition, 77000 miles and a Full Audi Service History.....not many of these available!
So....back to the Audi 80 2.8 quattro; will sell for £2250 ( inc 12 months MoT ) .
I don't need to tell you guys how scarce these cars are, especially with this low mileage ( 73500 - and genuine ).
1992 K reg.
Metallic black, and in good condition. A couple of small car park dinks, some surface scratching, but no corrosion. Worst damage is crack and scratches to lower RHS of rear valance - looks as if previous owner reversed into wire fence.
Interior is unmarked charcoal velour.
Wheels. Optional 15" BBS wheels which are in need of refurbishment due to lacquer lifting. Tyres are good all round - two new at 70000 miles, when four wheel alignment was carried out.
Mechanically it's fine - no problems at all that I'm aware of. Still delivering all 174 horses to all four wheels, as and when required!
Service History. Audi up to and including 40000; independent thereafter - 70000 mile service in July 2005.
Taxed until June 06; will be MoT'd for 12 months when sold.
And why am I selling? I have ( finally ) managed to get my hands on a nice S2 Avant, and despite the fact that I could get 4 wheels and tyres into the boot and onto the folded rear seat of the saloon, an Avant better meets my needs.
I'm based just east of Oxford ( Thame ), 10 mins from J6, 7 or 8 of the M40.
I'm looking for £2250 for it....and it's worth every penny, as either an everyday saloon or else a rare car with ( possible ) collectors value.
I may have made it sound worse than it is, but that's because I have always hated being on the receiving end of those long journeys to see immaculate cars that aren't!
