1994 Audi S2 Avant 77000 FASH

This is a ridiculous state of affairs...unless I sell my Audi 80 2.8 quattro saloon, I'm going to have to sell the S2 Avant that I bought to replace it! I cannot afford to hang on to both of them for an indeterminate length of time.

Superb low mileage S2 Avant in Lazer Red with black leather interior. The car was initially registered to Audi, so was well specified from new, but does not have the optional air conditioning, heated seats or cruise control.
Bodywork is extremely good, with minimal traces of corrosion ( front wheel arches ). Interior is excellent and virtually unmarked.
Low mileage is verifiable, and the car has a Full Audi Service History accompanied by bills.
Mechanically the car is in excellent condition, with all 230bhp apparently in place and correctly apportioned to the relevant wheels according to road conditions and driving style!
Car is taxed and MoT'd, and only for sale as I haven't yet found a buyer for my 2.8 quattro saloon. Ideally I'd like the saloon to go, but will consider sensible offers for the Avant.

Nice car, exactly the same as mine, reg, colour. My mileage is higher though @ 130k, but I paid £830 for it, VAG service history up till November 2004.

My brother also has one, an Avant in Emerald green, 1994 (M). He paid £1,500 for his, I reckon you need to drop the price a bit.

That's the one Bry.....and it's because you reckoned it was a good 'un that I went ahead with the deal! You're right, it's superb - just a little bit of tittivation required.
I believe you commented on the quality of the gearchange when you drove it; have to say that it's pretty slick for a quattro 'box - much less clunky than my old 100 S4.

As for the 2.8 saloon - it owes me £2100, and I'd be prepared to let it go at that. I've got a 'buyer' at the higher price, but I'm having difficulty in concluding the deal....but in fairness to him, he's got to get across from Ireland.
