How much would this turbo cost normally.
Sorry for being blonde, lol.... im not technical or anything.

what benefits would it give Jimmy my 3B.

                  Cheers

Careful - it's a dangerous game when you fork out for the parts... I'm spent till march now, but if a good deal on a K26/27 comes in I guess, well... thank god for the invention of plastic

In answer to your question, I saw a receipt for a new RS2 turbo just the other day, from the summer - cost about £975 with vat i believe.

SR71 - nice car btw, good doing business with ya.

                      Hey Tina,

I'll let others inform you of the merits of the upgrade.

However, as Ross says, it won't be a cheap business extracting the performance the turbo is capable of from the S2 platform.

Nevertheless, its still the cheapest method of boosting the performance into the mid-300's which will give your favoured mildly modded TT Supra's a good run for their money...

Make me an offer having first spoken to VAG Parts and ascertained what a new one would cost!

PS: Ross - All the best with the evolution!

Tina - if you wanted to go down the "bigger turbo" route, you'll need an RS2 turbo, and RS2 exhaust manifold and a full re-map as a minimum - you'd also want to consider at the same time the RS2 intercooler and possibly RS2 injectors to make the most of it. It's quite a lot of dough, but as mentioned above is the "tried and trusted" route to getting a fairly hefty increase in power and huge dollops of torque.

Best bet if you're really serious about it is to start tracking down 2nd hand parts as new this will add up to a lot of quorn... Welcome to the Dark Side

Some people would rather fly concorde to an exotic resort a few times a year.

Im gonna have my own concorde, only thing that worries me is.....
what happens when i get used to that power :mischeif:

Drag race them on a wet road

I watched Tom (Audiman) at the GTi International this year run a 3.6sec 0-60MPH in the dry and then turn in a 4sec run after the heavens opened The start line had an inch of standing water

Gotta see a Supra get near those times, wet or dry

                            Cheers n
