1 Garrett T3/4 60 trim turbo

Hi,
It would appear that the stakes have been raised in the bhp department with 600 being the new target. Well not to be left behind , I will also be going down this route in the near future.

Consequently, I will have 1 Garrett T3/4 60 trim turbo with internal wastegate, 5 dark green injectors and a modified RS2 EM (with wastegate outlet blanked off) for sale.

This set up was good for a reliable 390bhp with same torque figure (lbs) and all components have been well looked after covering just over 7000 miles. SOme that know me can vouch for me never thrashing the engine , especially when cold!

HAve just posted about not being able to read posts and here I am replying....lol
Not entirely sure which way will go yet.... may be GT40R or perhaps even older T67 or something similar...... either way with turbo air injectors to help with the lag. Hope to get back some of old setups characteristics (ie minimal lag) that I had before I changed EM. A good remap would no doubt help, but if I'm going to the trouble may as well add some new bits first

Well having spoken to my mechanic, appears I will definitely be going down T66 route.
Seems my old T34 turbo is in a bit of demand (the housing at least) even by Garrett themselves. Will have to wait and see what they offer me for it?
As for my RS2 exhaust manifold, it has been modified with a T4 flange and the wastegate being cut off. SHould I revert to original spec or just repalce wastegate exit to get best possible price for it?

Hmmm... how difficult would it be to change the flange + 'unblock' the wastegate pipe? I know someone who is looking for a good deal on an RS2 EM ; must be original spec though.
