    scam

Tim at qrsport told me about one guy before xmas that had this scam and fell for it.
something about a motorhome and payment for it to include delivery.
guy lost the motor home and money too.
I get a few of these each week, I just say yes to them and give them wrong details for a laugh ( much like the people from the phone companies who ring me when i m eating my tea. how do they know?!)

Why would cashing there cash/check and not paying them back or giving then the car not work. Screw them over for a change?

They can cancel the cheque or it just bounces at a later date when you think it's cleared. Not 100% on the details of that side but it leaves the genuine cheque from the seller cashed with no method of getting the money back. *******s.

There was a guy on Ebay (posted somewhere on here) who sent them a rather amusing reply mainly involvin 4 letter words beginning with F for name, address, bak etc. Good lad!
