    For Sale - 18x8 RS6 Replica Alloys & Tyres

These aren't mine... its a guy in work that had them on his A4 Avant which he just sold. All in very good condition. Set of four with Good Year Eagle F1s (approx 3000 miles usage) on 245/40.

    These are 8J x 18 in a 5/112 bolt pattern with ET=35. Eminently suitable for S2.

Cost new a touch under £1000. He is looking for offers in the region of £550 - plus shipping at the buyers cost of course. These wheels are in Belfast - so that needs to be factored into postage charges.

PM me directly if interested. I can get photos if anyone wants them...

Dont mean to be rude, but i paid £880 for mine in 19" and i know the prices have fallen since then, so IMO price is tad high.
Altho the tyres are a good brand and not these kung-fu tyres lol

He is open to offers. I also thought £550 was a tad steep. I reckon he'll be happy with £500. That just about covers the price of 4 new GoodYear Eagle tyres dunnit ?

At first glance it looks a tad steep then you factor in that new ones come with Nankang or Avon rubbish.

I think tyres are quite possibly down to opinion, as you drive according to what feels right, if you have never driven on a high performance tyre then you prob wonder what all the fuss is about, if you have used them tho you may well notice a difference.

Ive had Yoko's in the past and for me, that is far from a good reason to use a tyre made by them, or even there own as i hated Yoko's on my S2, they were awful!

Well I can't fault them. I have tried all sorts of tyres from expensive to real crap on all sorts of performance cars and some are better than others for wear, noise, grip in dry and wet they all performed different and the Nankans hold their own easy.

I had p6000s on my VR4 then changed to Nankans ( bigger wheels and tyres) and I would say they were better (or as good as). I used to really hump the car and the road holding was more than enough, they did not even offer to let go when pushing very hard so good enough for me.

Eveyone to their own though. I think in todays technology there is no such thing as a crap tyre if you look back a few years and see what was on the market then.

I often feel it is like clothes and people just go for GAP and NEXT etc. Just because the name is good dont mean the product is.
