      I agree with Corey, I bet those are 996 Turbo/GT3 rears P/N: 996 352 425/426.

          Corey,

Can you let me know how to tell the difference between the front and rear calipers, and where to look for the part no on them.

          Thanks

I'm doing some faq on brake upgrades and caliper buyng tips. All material is in place (in F:\Audi\brake\mess\ ) however don't have enough time to put it all together with html, pictures, etc. So shortly (will try to describe in words first):
996 GT3/TT rears is basically same casting as desired 996 front monos, however, top area of "breasts" is not so deeply "shaved" like in fronts.

            See (fronts):

            See (rears on this post):

Also on the rears - you have small lip near bake hose connection.

On "normal" Monos - you have not .

Yes, the part numbers are P/N: 996 352 425/426. These brakes are 996T/GT3 rears. As I understand then they are similar to those 996 monoblocks that most people use here in brake conversion (part nr. 996 351 425/426). I also have these brakes on my S2 and the overall size seems to be about the same, mounting holes are with same distance and even brake pads are exactly the same. As far as I know then the piston size is different. I know people have used them in front and it's still big improvement compared to standard S2 ones.
