I used to have one of those. In my defence it came with the car (not attached) and I never used it. I think I've still got bits of it around here somewhere.

Just seen it too. Strangely I'm thinking about purchasing one of these , if anyone has one for sale please shout. In my defence, I'm taking the S2 over to France for the family holiday and a coupé doesn't have much room inside for four peeps and all the holiday stuff. The roof bars would help to reduce the crush in the cabin. I can't imagine it will add to the classic looks of the car or aid aerodynamics!

I've got a grille and S2 badge on the bay at the minute, it clearly states in the auction that I replaced it with an OEM black rimmed version. I got a question asking what make is the "OEM" black rimmed version and where do you get them

I have an older Yakima set of bars for the Coupe. They ain't pretty - could use a splash of bar-b-q paint. I think I have a bike attachment too - $100USD plus shipping. PM me if interested.
I used to ride mountain bike, now I just drink beer for sport.

I actually have 2 roof racks for the S2....why bother buying a hearse when you can own a stylish coupe and just throw on the extra bars when needed

The first is the Audi version of the Thule bars, which I have a couple of bike racks on, so that the bars stay together...making fitting a fast and simple process.

The second set (again from Audi) are the ski holders...which don't work with owt else but skis.
