Main Dealer S2 coupe....Ebay

Just spotted this on Ebay. Wonder what exactly is up with it? Possibly not a lot, or everything Knowing a MD (allegedly)
Could well be a bargain if Audi have washed their hands of it and took it as a chop in......

Is it Blue or does it look like the Byzance (?) colour........

Byzance same as Jas11n car, stunning colour.
Too much purple in the pics to be a straight blue.

Hell ! it's a clone of my car. Interior is exactly the same apart from that has walnut trim and mine has carbon

Mine are cream, but you are right, they do look a tad brown in that pic. Could just be the camera angle ? Can't say I've ever seen a brown carpet and I'm glad I haven't too

Opinions as to what it will go for folks. I personally think that it'll be around the £3600 mark

Difficult to tell without seeing it in flesh. It looks mint, and if it is only Turbo damage, I would think more like £5k...

We shall see.

Personally I don't think it will go at all on ebay and be sold eslewhere....

I spoke to the dealership today and they told me the car had never run since they’ve had it, the previous owner towed it to them and left it telling them that when it did run it was smoking ( white smoke ) badly. It now has a flat battery so they’ve not tried starting it again. He wouldn’t say how they knew the turbo wasn’t working and also wouldn’t tell me the reserve, although he did say that if I came over for a look and wanted to make a sensible offer, they wouldn’t refuse it.
Sounds like much more than a non-functioning turbo to me. Possible cracked head / blown head gasket, resulting water goes into turbo, car is then left and the turbo seizes?? A real shame as it looks like a nice car.

Still not a disastrous with a cracked head/gasket gone. Someone with the mechanical know how - and there are a few on here - to strip it . What would peopl estimate at a cracked head getting filled /welded £4 - £500. A stock turbo is not that much I should imagine...... Depends on what the guy through the dealership sees as a sensible offer.
I could see them taking £3k for it.Although if they get several enquiries from people on here that will push it up .........

mmmm its at £2.2k now, The reserve could still well begin with a "3" but the strong amount of early bidding would rule out an offer to buy it Iwould think.......
