The time has come for me to part with my beloved S2 coupe (1992 J) that I have owned for the last 12 years, so that I can buy a bigger car to support my growing family.
Despite having 193K on the clock it still goes as well as it did when I first bought her back in 1994 and is still used on a daily basis. Most of the mileage has been done on motorways and A roads. I have a fully documented Audi service history (plus a couple by Kim Collins at QST) and I have ALL the receipts from the last 12 years. Kim Collins upgraded her 7 years ago with the following items: MTM 265BHP CPU, stainless Scorpion exhaust and also de-cat'd. During the time I have owned the car it has had a new gearbox, clutch, radiators, alternator, HT leads and all the usual consumables. She is in lovely emerald green (pearl metallic) with the Quattro logo cloth interior that has stood the test of time well (except for the driver's right bolster). It has Audi 5 spoke competition 17" alloys on currently and the originals are also available.
There are a few problems, all relatively easy to resolve:
- dent in the nearside rear (I've had a quote of £300 to repair this).
- aircon hasn't worked since last year. I supect it needs a recharge.
- Bonnet has a lot of stone chipping so could do with a respray.
I am realistic about the value of the car and I am open to offers. I hope to get some photos this weekend. If anyone is interested in this car, please PM me.
