      and who are you??

£300++ is a lot of money to send to a stranger

I think you need to verify you are good for the parts first and genuine.....my personal view only. (search for flexx and you will see why I say this)

They are made in same factory what made SPM rods, only the bolts are ARP2000 not 8740 like these what Sten supply with its rods, may be you know that ARP2000 are high grade bolts with price double to 8740

Really i am new on this forum, but if anyone is interested on my offer, then you can trust me. Really i can write good words for me and make good advertisement myself with some sale and group buy examples, but i don't need this, because i am pretty sure that if anyone buy these, only after several days he will post good words for me here .
On other way if buyer pay by Paypal then all is OK, he can get its money back if he don't receive anything

Only through ebay can you get money back if you get ripped by a +50 feedback trader..........up to max value £150 :mischeif:

and its VERY hard to get it off them

//as I said...and Im sure most guys agree here. If you dont have a VERIFIABLE motorsport business or motor parts company...

AND you arent well known in the "industry"....you have got 0.00000000001% of making a sale on here to me and I'm hoping others are careful too

Sorry if you are genuine but a lot of people have been ripped off buying auto parts

Yes i understand you and no problem. I want to work with guys that trust me too Like i wrote in the past i have experience on group buys too, but why i need to share it here ? it is topic for only one set of rods not for 50+ sets that you need to buy and pay together

Mate i am happy that not all buyers think like you, on other way you can be ripped of "big" companies with there big prices. If you or anyone want to pay for such product more money than what i need to say ?.....no problem, choice is yours

I wouldn't be too harsh, I think with a few exceptions trading on the forum seems to go fairly smoothly. At the end of the day there's always going to be exceptions, flexx was a pretty big one I'd say (!), but I don't think you need to be a reputed motortrader to post in the "for sale" section on the s2forum!! That's not what it's for.

BUT... what I'd be very interested in is to know where these rods are made - it was mentioned they were from the SPM factory - where is it?

              On buying/selling:

IMO, it's always good to send a few PMs to get to know someone on the forum that you don't know, or is fairly new, and you plan on buying from. You can implement your own security measures. How quickly do they respond? Do you have an email addy? Are they willing to have a quick chat on the phone? I agree there's some dodgy folk out there, but I find that unintended mis-communication (or lack of) is the biggest problem out there! And if it doesn't sit right with you, walk from the deal - I consider myself lucky, but I've bought a fair bit from forums, and always had great deals with only minor problems (and always due to ppl having bad communication). My only close-call was recently from ebay, and I pulled out from the sale (the goods had serial #'s in the photo's...). It always helps if the seller is fairly local too.

I order my rods from one little company for racing parts in California USA, my brother live there and he arrange custom orders with these peoples for rods for EU cars, because i sale racing rods for other cars/engines too. So these guys tell to my brother that they sale EU rods to one EU company and show Sten's company SPM like there client. Unfortunately i don't know where exactly the rods are made, but this is company secret may be i don't know, important for me is that quality is PERFECT, price is good and all clients that buy and use such rods are happy
