My 1997 S6 Avant is for sale (
) due to a new project (
), I wish I could drive more than one vehicle at once (Don't we all eh? 
) but because I can't somebody is going to benefit from all the TLC that I have given to my "Baby" since owning her as from February 2004.
So the interesting bits in no particular order -
20v Turbo AAN with recent Head Gasket (RS2), Timing Belt, Water Pump, Relay Roller, Hall Sender, Cam Chain, New Coil to Spark Plug Connectors x 5, New Idle Valve, New MAF Meter, New Fuel Pipe (yer know, the one that leaks at the hardline connector on the bulkhead coming from the bottom of the Fuel Filter (
) New Upper Strut Top Mounts, New complete front Track Control Arms, new front upper and lower subframe bushes, new ARB bushes, Transmission Fluid Change and Filter, Front Brakes by quattronics (
) consisting of 996 351 426/425 Porsche Monoblock Calipers in Black with 340 x 30 genuine Audi discs (American Spec Armour Plated Audi A8 345 x 30's that have been machined down - long story ) 18" Oettinger RE One Piece 5 Spoke Alloys fitted with Toyo Proxes T1S 255/35/18 Tyres (Wheels and Tyres are practically as new) Spare is a Space Saver, ECU Chipped (no not by MRC )...........but by Starchips giving 214PS at the wheels (equates to 270...ish at the fly approximately 
) Was on the Rolling Road during Dec 2005 see this - http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/rolling..._30.12.05.html - Yes it is Automatic but it really is a Sweet Gearbox and MPG average on a run is 23/24 which I think is reasonable for a BIG "Slipper Wagon" , Full Samco Intake Hoses in Black, Green Stuff Rear Pads and recent near side rear caliper, quattronics Custom Fit Center Vent Mounted Boost/Vac Gauge and Oil Pressure Gauge - follow the linky - http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12386 - Aluminium Silver Paint with Half Black Leather/Silver Alcantara upholstery, Steel Sliding/Tilting Sunroof, Headlamp Washers, Heated Front Seats and Seven Seat Option, FASH with 106K, originally a Scotts of Sloane Square Demonstrator passing into a PLC ownership with 4 further owners then yours truly. Registration Number is included A20 VAV (a 20v Avant) MoT'd until October 2006 and Taxed until March 2007.................The bad bits?? well..........err.....none really apart from the Climate needs a Re-gas but it was working until it came out of winter hibernation (yes it lives in a garage and gets pampered and is purely a "Toy"!!)
