Does anyone have a PAS pump high pressure hose for sale??

Its not lookiung good for gti international at the minute

Ive stripped a fair bit out to do a load of jobs and fit new parts.......(like thermostat, MFTS, New boost hose and test all other ones off the car, clamps etc etc)

So now Im putting it all back together and I see this

After Id drained the hydraulics (yet again ......) to remove the radiator I saw a little seep of fluid at the edge of the gash in this piping cover....almost like blood at the edge of a cut....

Im wondering if this could be the cause of my massively annoying warning light (!) as Ive replaced the bomb a month ago and still no fix......

So ... does anyone have a spare PAS hose they could sell me.....FAST......PLEASE

Would it not be expected to spew out at high pressure???....

Ive never seen it leak before and it only "looks" like its the sheath that is damaged but I might get it pressure tested to see....

What psi do I need to tell them??? 300psi?

ALso//// could someone PLEASE tell me the correct PN and also what other cars this item is the same on>>? THANKS

On the high pressure side to the bomb the pressure is in the 2000-2200 psi region, this part of the hydraulic circuit depends on high pressure but low flow, so if it was weeping over night it would drain the bomb pressure, but you would also see about 250ml of oil on the floor every morning, but if it is the low pressure high flow to the rack then it would probably be 2-400psi but wouldnt cause the warning light unless you lost too much fluid.

Thanks a lot for that info Graham. its the low pressure high flow one to the steering rack then.

God knows but it seems odd that it would'nt affect the (!) warning light unless a lot had drained out...which it doesnt.

Oh Well. Going to replace it just in case!!!!
