    Porsche 996 + brackets.

Hello all, due to a change of circumstances i am selling a pair of front 996 calipers in black which are in excellant condition, i also have fixing bolts and Seat caliper brackets to go to.
    Part numbers are: 996 351 426 and 996 351 425 for the calipers.

Calipers come with dust seals, pad retaining clips, fixing bolts, Seat caliper brackets (need to be machined), and a pair of Textar pads with loads of meat left on them.

£290 plus P&P, Pm me if interested

    Many Thanks Jon.

    Hi mate.

Merely a consideration, sort of interest at the mo, but quite what machining of the caliper bolts will be necessary to fit these to my aby coupe?

As i say, I am only considering at this stage, as money is tighter than something I am not going to mention!

    Cheers
    Kris

Don't know what you are talking about...

It was the drive back from GTI with Ross that finally did it for me. A few hard stops on the A43 from 120mph and the brakes were fading badly. The standard brakes make a mockery of the performance potential of the car.

Don't get too excited I haven't bought them yet.

The standard brakes are chocolate though.

It will still look OEM+, which is what matters.....

lol Steve I would have thought you would source some old RS4/RS6 to keep everything OEM - shame on you joining the rest of us modders and plumping for non audi parts

Can't afford RS6 setup I think the RS2 set is an ageing solution. 996's are the best engineering solution IMO...

Gutted they are not OEM, but depending on the finish they could "look" OEM :mischeif:

@ Jon - slightly concerned at that picture (start of thread) ...do you really take your calipers to bed with you?!! I know they're nice (I have some as well) ...but I never considered them to be that nice!!!

It's not better than sex, but it runs it a close second.
