I've never found left hand drive a problem, the only real problem is overtaking things you can't see through (vans/lorries) car's aren't a problem at all... besides overtakes only take less than 2 tics so even then its no real issue!

Makes life easy parking and getting out on the kerb... + its how most cars are originally designed so weight distribution is almost always better on a LHD car. Hence RS2/S2 engine is offset to the left (as you open the bonnet and look at the engine) therefore sitting on the right (looking at the car from the front) as in a LHD car means weight distribution is optimised.

Any dodgy garage can get the address from a HPI as they get them for free

People can quite often get your address information from a car registration if they "know" the right guy so to speak.

Yeah, but it's not like you can hide it when you drive it is it?

Can't see the point of hiding it as genuine buyers can do a HPI check and if someone is that bothered about stealing a car then they'll steal it anyway. And if they saw you driveing the car, they could just follow you home anyway!!!
